Day 1 done!
Today I was working on a couple of SFX shots for a short film being made at the NFTS. The first shot of the day was a 90ft tracking shot with cars on fire, an entire tower block smoking, upturned London buses and a stunt double on fire running literally within about a foot and a half from the front of the camera where I was sat. Best Director?
After viewing the nominations for this years Oscar’s I’m actually quite disappointed and a tad frustrated that Christopher Nolan isn’t up for best director. Tumblr glitch?
For some reason over the past few days if I ‘like’ a post on here it seems to scroll my page to the top without me doing it. Is anyone else having this problem or had this problem in the past? It’s becoming quite a nuisance.
100 Sketches for Aero
I’m currently working on a job for Aero where we’re shooting 100 sketches in quite a short time frame all lasting under a minute. It’s all within one studio space which allows me to have complete control when lighting it which Im really enjoying. I came across this today when I was checking out diary services. It’s a collaboration promo for the new Narnia film with last years X-Factor winner Joe McElderry that I worked on. We did others for the Italian, German and Russian winners too but I can’t seem to find them online.
