I’m off on Monday for ten weeks of focus pulling on a TV Drama shooting on the Arri Alexa and I’m toying with the idea of purchasing a CineTape as it would be extremely handy for the entire shoot. It’s an asset I feel I should have in my arsenal now and even after the shoot I can continue to use it and potentially hire it out to other professionals.

So I haven’t been blogging much lately and that’s purely because I didn’t feel I had anything massively worth sharing. However I did a job today which has by far been one of the best jobs I’ve done to date. I was focus pulling on a Vodafone Mercedes McLaren commercial featuring Jenson Button, for those of you who don’t know he is he’s a British Formula One driver and is in the same team as Lewis Hamilton. Anyway we were shooting on Arri Alexa Plus with Panavision Primos and I had wireless accessories to make my life easier. Anyway I’m a Formula One fan so for me it was an absolute dream to get paid to work on a project which i’d of happily done for free.
