Seeking good DSLR adapter (ZF to EOS)?

So some of you guys are very familiar with shooting DSLR by the sounds of it and I’m seeking some advice as I generally don’t shoot DSLR so haven’t done much research. I have a 5D MKII kit which I’m looking to fine tune and improve. I hire it out for corporate shoots and smaller budget shoots as a little money maker but it appears the adapters I have aren’t very good. I did buy them for dirt cheap from Ebay ages ago and so looking to get something much better. They fit no problem but they have some give in them if a follow focus unit is then attached and it’s a little annoying. If anyone knows of a good place to buy quality adapters then please feel free to share your advice. Thanks.

  5. logmfut said: FotoDiox makes good adapters (I use them for Nikon glass on Canon Body). Apparently the range in price is based off the sturdiness of each adapter. I purchased a mid-price one about two years and it’s still going strong. Works well with FFocus.

  9. jasondruss said: and p.s. if you’re thinking about going zeiss, consider Nikon first. They still make new (and used) manual AIS lenses that are way cheaper than zeiss glass, and you’ll get the same quality/bokeh/sharpness

  11. jasondruss answered: If you go to B&H, cinevate makes fantastic Nikon to Canon adapters for $40. I use them everyday on my 7D w/ Nikon Primes!
