So I haven’t really posted anything in a little while. It’s not because I haven’t been working it’s more due to the fact that I didn’t feel like I had anything really worthy of posting so decided to save cluttering up the dashboard. Anyway I’m now back at my parents for Xmas and I’ve got a few very relaxing days seeing friends and family before I’m back to London. As some of you may be aware this is the quiet season for work but and I know a fair few people were having extended holidays due to the lack of work but fortunately I’ve been really busy and I’m so thankful for it as it kept me out of the house but also had some income too. The last job of the year was a music promo using the lovely Arri Alexa plus which can be seen in the pictures above. I thought I’d share these with you as I absolutely love this camera and it is by far my favourite digital camera to work with. Anyway I have to finish wrapping my presents but I hope everyone has a fantastic Xmas and New Years.
So this week I’ve been doing days for Burberry shooting on the RED MX which has been very formulaic and tedious but the money is good so can’t complain. As of today for the rest of the week I’m working with different cameras, firstly the Aaton Penelope shooting 3-perf 35mm for a music promo which I’m testing today, and finally a short WWI drama shooting anamorphic on the RED Epic which I’ve worked with before and is such a nightmare. I’m very glad to be working with the Aaton Penelope for the next couple of days as it’ll relieve me of digital filmmaking. I may or may not post pictures or updates throughout the next couple of days but thought I’d at least share photos of the cameras for illustration purposes.
